Achieving Mindfulness

Teacher: Just taking everyday as it finds us.

Student: How do you manage that? Not to worry for what tomorrow brings?

Teacher: The only thing that is real is now! Yesterday has gone & tomorrow might not come. Being mindful, present and enjoying the day xx

Student: Yes, I have read the theory …but how do we actually put this into practice?

Teacher: Yoga & Meditation, I use a lot of guided meditation. The thing is to immerse yourself into whatever you are doing. Becoming very focused and purposeful in what you are doing.

One of the recent conversations I had on mindfulness. Simply sitting in silence and emptying our head by focusing on the sound of your breathing can be more than enough to bring you back to this moment.
